The Fiery Heart
(Bloodlines 4)
by Richelle Mead

That’s right Sydrian fans! Richelle Mead’s official Bloodlines page on Facebook has received over 55,000 likes, which means… TEASERS!

I’m not going to post them on the blog, since Mead made a note that she doesn’t know how long Penguin will have the teasers up, and one of our Goodreads friends got in trouble whenever she posted a chapter 1 preview from The Indigo Spell when everyone wanted more from The Golden Lily. So here are the links.

Okay, Adrian lovers, here’s a short little teaser from Adrian’s point of view. Too bad Mead didn’t give us more.

And let’s not forget the Sydney fans (cough, Mitch, cough). Here’s a bit longer excerpt from Sydney’s point of view.

As for the cover, many fans have already made their opinions clear, as have I on Goodreads, but I won’t let that discourage me from devouring the book as soon as I can get my hands on it.

The Fiery Heart is expected to be released on November 19, 2013.

Unless she figures out how to do the impossible…again.

Thoughts: Those of you who follow our group of friends know that quite recently, a lot of them read Maria V. Snyder’s first book in the “Healer” series, “Touch of Power,” and loved it.

Having read the ARC back in October 2011, I’ve been trying to keep up with the book.

Of course, when we tried to find information about the sequel, all we had were a title and book cover. No release date, and it didn’t seem like anyone has been able to get their hands on an ARC.

Well, I have been corresponding by e-mail with Maria V. Snyder the last few months, and in September, she told me that she has finished the book, and it will be released December 18!

What’s more, she has agreed to do an interview with me!

I have a list of questions I want to ask, and if any of you have anything you want to ask her about this book or any of her other books, please feel free to send them to me. As she is very busy at the moment, I plan to publish her interview sometime in December before the book’s release.

In the meantime, you can get a sneak peek of the book read Chapter 1 on her website. And if you’re just dying for more, request an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) on NetGalley. My review has been posted on Goodreads, and I will post it on this blog closer to the release date.
